As chain director, Van Drie B.V. oversees the continuous quality, health and welfare of the animals and the rearing process, thus providing the ultimate basis for the production of premium veal.
Van Drie B.V. pays a lot of attention to the selection and purchase of calves. Most of the calves are born in the Netherlands and Germany and come from dairy farms. The calves are housed with farmers with whom Van Drie B.V. has contracts. During the approximately 27 weeks the calves are kept at the veal farmer, Van Drie B.V. provides tailor-made guidance with experienced and well-trained technical specialists.
