The certified HACCP system at Van Drie bv regarding: calf purchasing, raising and supplying veal calves with the main themes of Food Safety, Animal Health and Animal Welfare.
These activities are also covered by the Safety Guard system of the VanDrie Group and the Food Safety Supply Chain System certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Ltd. We are especially proud that all our contract calf farmers, as service providers, are also part of this HACCP-certified quality assurance system.
Our certified tracking and tracing system is also special in that we can immediately demonstrate where each calf we have raised and/or purchased is, where it came from and where it went. This is done using the ID code on the calves’ ear tags.
